Gym Girl Things

I'll keep them updated if something new takes its place or I change my mind on its effectiveness.

Tripod
Great for exercise videos and progress photos. Small enough to toss in your gym bag.

Lifting Straps
At JBeen Training we start using lifting straps at 100# on BB and 35# on DB.

Lifting Gloves
Helpful if the knurling hurts your hands or you have sweaty palms.

Bar Pad
We use the bar pad for hip thrust only. We do not use it for squats or any other exercise.

Lifting Shoes
A great foundation starts with your feet. I love Reebok Nano X for a grippy sole and solid feel.

Lifting Belt
We use a lifting belt for deadlifts and squats once you've passed your own body weight in the lift.

Dumbbell Fractional Plates
You can add 2# to your lift instead of jumping the normal 5-10#.

Barbell Fractional Plates
These slide right on any olympic bar allowing for progressive overload.

Long Resistance Bands
Use for warm-ups, functional training, recovery, and pull ups.

Small Loop Bands
We use these for hip extension and abduction, shoulder activation, and much more.

Hair Ties
These don't crease too badly or pull your hair. They are my current favorite.

Protein Powder
I use collagen in my smoothie and beef in my cookies. Chocolate and vanilla are both good.

Unflavored Collagen
I use this unflavored powder in my protein waffles. Steve uses it in his coffee.

Waffle Mix
I use this for my protein waffles. In fall, grab the pumpkin!

Electrolyte Powder
I love these because they are individually packaged and I keep them in my bag. Great for hikes.

Food Scale
An inexpensive scale that works well. Measuring in grams yields the best results.

Veggie Chopper
This little gem makes meal prep a breeze.

Veggie and Fruit Storage
These help keep veggies and fruit fresh longer with the bottom grate.

Egg Cooker
Make the perfect breakfast sandwich with these egg cookers. 10 minutes @ 350*.

Air Fryer
I love my air fryer. Reheat rotisserie chicken, cook potatoes and veggies, reheat pizza.

Meal Prep Containers
Plastic meal prep containers perfect for lunches on the go.

Foil Meal Prep Oven Containers
Great for individual meals. I use a variety of styles. Freezer to table in 30.

Meal Prep Glass Containers
I mostly use these at home for left overs.

Supplement Organizer
Oversized and great if you want to take certain supps at each meal.

Callous Shaver
Dead hangs and deadlifts can leave you with dead hands. Shave those callouses off with this.
